24" 400 watt Metal Halide/T5 combo fixture

The fixture is 24"L x 14"W x 3 1/2"H, with one 400 watt metal halide bulb (XM - 20,000K bulb about 3 -4 months old) in the middle, and two 24-watt T5HO bulbs (currently have 10k bulbs but came with Actinics) at sides shining at a perfectly-tilted angel. This is a nice fixture. The t5 housings slide out of the main fixture. I had a 48" version of this light and lived it.

Would be all over this it were 250W. 400W would definitely fry my 30G. Come to think of it, can the 24" foot print fit on anything bigger than a nano-ish reef besides a hex?

60 cube, 93 cube possibly, 50 breeder, 65/70 so more than a few choices

yeah i put the atinics in the t5's helps the ramp up/down period its a good light never had any issues with it

Sure, The fixture itself is 24"L x 14"W x 3 1/2"H. If you decide to use the legs that are on it they will give you 3 1/2" clearance form the glass.

I used it with the legs. But the legs are removable and can hang from a cable. I believe I have the cables somewhere if you are interested.
