Yes...the pics were taken (not exactly the best picture taker)when I had one of my frag tanks set up...the red hornet definitely has the ring in it...if you want to pm me your cell number I can text you a picture

No "special care"...however they need to be placed right in your tank to thrive just like any other coral.
