We're downsizing our house so my fish need to downsize as well :( And, as I lost most of my livestock in Sandy, now seems like a great time!

The new tank is cycled and I'm ready to start the exodus.

First up is a couple hundred pounds or so of liverock -- some with polyps, anthelia and shrooms on them All covered with coralline. $3 a pound.

For sale is also the largest finger leather I've seen -- it's easily the depth of my tank and approximately 1/4 of the length. It's spread over several large pieces of rock. Does anyone have any experience with fragging such a large softie? I"m afraid of majorly sliming the tank, so I'd like to wait until I have my livestock moved to the new tank before cutting up the larger pieces. But I do have several smaller and medium pieces attached to rock -- $25 each.

I also have some dead rock sitting in my garage -- beautiful pieces that just didn't fit in this tank when I set it up. $2 a pound.

I've stirred up the tank quite a bit getting out the rocks that I want to keep. I'll get some pictures tonight. I thought I had a great picture of the coral, but I don't, so I'll take some of that as well as soon as it opens itself back up!

Some pictures of the rocks. I don't have a good picture of the coral as it wasn't happy with me pulling out the rocks for the smaller tank. I'll take one after it opens up.

The tank and equipment will go after I can move the livestock to the new tank -

180 gallon reef tank -- awesome condition. 72x24x24 with stand. Two overflows in the back corners, Dursos in both overflows. $700 tank and stand.

72" 14 bulb Aquatinics Constellation - $700. Bulbs are 16 months old, but they're yours if you want them!

40 gallon breeder $30

Poseideon Velocity T4 -- wish I was building a new tank that could handle this pump -- it's soooo quiet $125

Octopus In Tank Skimmer -it's an older model, wish I could tell you which it was-- it's one of the first models with a bubble plate. Works great. The pump could use a new impeller as a snail got caught in it and broke a few of the needle pins. Rated at 200+ gallons. $125

Kat, sorry to hear about the losses and need to downsize - hope all is well

House

Thanks! Everything is fine. The kids are grown, we'll be moving out of the house into something smaller and closer to White Plains. I'm moving what's left into my old 29 gallon and then we'll put up a 65 or 72 when we move this summer or fall. Hoping to get enough cash to subsidize the new tank and some livestock!

Here's a picture of the leather. It's huge and is attached to at least two or three large pieces of rock. The bubble is no more btw. My clowns host in what's left of it, so I"ll be trying to cut it off of the rock for them. To those of you that want to purchase this entire coral - I've never seen anything this large for sale before. I'm thinking in the $500 range for the coral and the rocks that it's attached to.

How long have you had that leather?! That is so awesome. Def worth the 500 glws

I have pictures of it in 2009 and it was pretty large then, say 12x12. I think it's probably early 2008. It's grown massively since I stopped worrying about sps and water quality LOL

I'm going to take a small piece for my new tank, but I'll have to keep it under control this time.
