Most do not. There is one type that does and I don't recall how they look but I think Kathy has a thread about them. Most of them are herbivores and just clean off your algae. They do proliferate which is why I give them away free.
The thing about critters is you can never know which will grow in your tank. I used to have hundreds of the tiny brittle stars and now none.
