I have a lot of frags in main DT that need some removal.. I love keeping them, they flow pretty nice and get large.. Just have too many..
I can get pix tomorrow.. Large piece 7x7 15$, smaller colonies 5-10 bux.. Will trade as well

I believe it's referred to as colt coral/Kenya tree

Pretty sure you can just cut it and thats it.. They are pretty hardy

Yup to trim i just cut with scissors. If you miss any of the little pieces they attach and grow super quick so make sure you get them all unless you want more.

alot of the times a branch will pinch itself off the main colony into a frag

I doubt it will do any harm.. I think a lot of corals let off some toxins, but in the tank you are fine.

I've seen mine release a slime as well when i make them mad so i did alot of research since i have a few sps and half the people blame it for killing their sps and other half call it a myth. I couldnt find anything reputable that it is toxic, i think as long as you do water changes once in a while and run a little carbon it should be no prob( ive done that for 6 months and my sps have been fine)
