Ok tge 48 inch t5 is a more expensive fixture and stronger wattage then the 72 the 48 is a full light and mh ficture the 72 is a diy kit made to go in a canopy the 48 can be hung drilled or sits in the tank and it comes with 4 new mh bulbs that are 250w and cost 125 $ each bulb
