Ok, with the baby on the way I need to make room and raise some $$$. I am willing to let the fixture go for $250. It needs new MH bulbs, some touch up paint and the VHO ballast needs to be fixed or replaced. (The VHO bulbs are practically unused)

You must pick up. I am stuck at home with a fractured foot, I go in for the cast tomorrow. (This means that I unfortunately can not help with carrying it out to a car)

PM or call.

I have NO idea. I have a stress fracture, it is 80% through the 2nd metatarsal bone. Took TWO weeks for me to get diagnosed. First, my doctor thought it was a blood clot and sent me to the ER, the ER did a sonogram and sent me on my merry way. My Dr. got an x-ray and blood work, NOTHING showed up. Took an MRI to find it. Now tomorrow I get a cast. :-(

Sorry to hear that. X-rays are all but useless, unless the fracture is completely obvious. What did they tell you, six weeks in the cast?

I remember how hard it was for me to find a fixture to begin with! No one is interested? I was hoping to get this out of my apartment by Tuesday. (My wife is out of town, I'm trying to get as much done before she arrives so that I can surprise her)

I believe that another issue is you cannot send pictures to the interested parties.. I know you said in your other thread that it is all boxed up and ready, however, I don't think someone will really buy something specially a light fixture without seeing it in person or through a pic.. just my 2 cents... please send me pics if you can.. i might know someone who is interested...

Pictures... Some info first:

The spots that look wet, are wet. I wiped it down with a damp cloth.
The closeup is of the spots where the paint is bubbling off. A few areas need to be sanded and touched up with black paint.

The acrylic sheet protecting the bulbs can be cleaned, but it is preferable that it be changed or that you suspend the fixture above the tank and do away with it all together.

Thank you Alfred, nice seeing you, your wife, and the kitties again. One day I'll get to really see the tank:). The light fixture is all re-wired to my Ice Cap, and working just fine. Now, what bulbs would you recommend?
