not rare just not normally kept in aquariums due to its delicate nature and the attraction that fish have to nipping and harassing it. Beautiful for a nano tank

Yes I have one in my tank with a bunch of fish and none does bother or nip it at all.

No, it's not beautiful or good for a Nano tank let alone a regular reef tank. They're Plankton eaters and they usually starve to death.
