Man I would love to own this.. Just got a etss 600 xr - these skimmers are beast! Just spent 300 on this so can't afford it unless I can get my 600 sold first.

What kind of pump is needed to run?

any pressure rated pump will work
skimmer works from 500 gallons / hour and up

MFGR suggests

Pumps:
Use with 70 RLT or extended range 100 RLT Iwaki

Flow range:
800-1200 GPH

Can this run in sump?

yes, but the down draft tower is rather tall.
Is your sump under the tank or somewhere else?
If you don't have the room, I have also seen the skimmer in use set behind the tank, or next to the tank and then plumbed to the sump.

Why are you selling it?

because, I was using it on a 370 gallon system, and I just added a 300DD to the system.
It brings the system volume up to 670.
I bought a larger one to handle the new system volume (Deltec AP103) from a member on the forum.
