I doubt your shark will eat coral. It might knock some coral down if the coral is on the ground. When the shark gets bigger it might move some rocks. It's most likely a brown banded bamboo shark.

dont the bambo sharks eat shrimps and crustaceans to so still not reef safe

It can also be a cat shark ,both bamboo and cat shark get large very quickly 24inches plus. And require a large tank eventually sooner than later ,and will eat crustations,I house one female bamboo in a 400 and still feel she needs bigger...

Well it's going to take a long time to outgrow a 180 gal tank it doesn't grow that fast

At my parents house we have a few sharks. They will eat shrimp but never touched crabs or snails. 180 is defently a little small for a full grown shark. It might be a marbled catshark or something else but with it just being labeled as a catshark I would guess it is a Brown banded. Who ever gets it will hopefully keep us updated.
