For Sale: Elos PS1000 - Needle Wheel Skimmer
The PS1000 is the elos middle size, needle wheel, protein skimmer.
A skimmer built with a lot of attention to details. Its body is made of very solid and polished acrylic and sits on 4 small rubber feet to avoid any vibration noise. It uses a pin-wheel injection system, in order to create the foam needed, the pump is fed into the protein skimmer?s body via a bubble plate. The bubble plates sits a little off center to reduce turbulence and increase contact time.
Made to be easy to maintain and clean, the top is designed to be unscrewed for easy cleaning. Its collection cup is relatively big and has a predrilled hole near the top which comes in handy if you want to attach an extra skimmate collector.
