Time has come for me to shut down my 90, i just dont have the time or energy anymore to run the tank. The nicest livestick i have is a large gigantea that is home to a pair of breeding picasso percs. they are a regular picasso and an onyx picasso (wingoled). they lay eggs at least 2x per month, never tried to rear any babies.
the nem is large, bigger than a dinner plate when fully open. coloration is kind of hard to nail down. the tentacles are green tipped, the main body is sort of brownish bluish purplish, depends on the lighting...i used to have it under an 8 bulb tek t5 and it was showing signs of multicolor tips. its been under LED (pac sun) for over a year and it seems like its more bluish gray, hard to nail down. i bought it at manhattan aquarium over 2 years ago, it never once deflated and has been healthy ever since.
i wont ship it, pickup only, we can meet someplace neutral, im in western nassau, we can meet at one of the LFS (aquar village, pets warehouse).

jscarlata what no one understands is how much time is invested in finding a healthy gig. or trying to get one that looks this healthy .
If my system wasn't suffering at this time I would be all over it .
They are hard to find in this condition

Thank you Greg! I shopped for 6 months before I found this one, and I watched it in the store for another month before I bought it. My time was worth it because it never deflated and was in good shape from day 1. I fed this beast a large block of mysis last night, it closes up so fast. Not long ago I was chasing a mystery wrasse to get him out if my tank, and the poor guy swam right into the nem...it had no chance, the nem grabbed it and ate it in shorty order!
