Thanks.It's as clear as it gets photo wise,A small one will cost 225.00 on line.Big one like this will cost 300.00 plus.I bought some Tetracycline for him and it's yours if you want it.Not sure if I want to treat in my tank and I don't have a QT.I;m not making any money on this fish just want to do the right thing.

just my 2 cents, no one would want to risk a possibly stress induced Infected fish in2 there dt....the right thing to do..would be to give the fish away at this point....8inch for a 60? even a 3incher wouldn't make sense in a tank so small.years ago, I bought a 4 incher for my 125...very tough fish to keep happy..it soon died....just my 2 cents

It's actually doing better and picking on rocks but not eating live or flake or pellets.I'll keep trying.There is no way I'm losing that much money.Like I said,Not making any money just want some of it back.

Why not bring this back to the store you bought it from and see if they can nurse it back to health or take the fish back. 8" Achilles in a 60 gallon is so silly.

I am curious to know what is it on the eye? Is this what we call cloudy eye? And if so how do you treat it? I know in a qt but what would you use to treat this or is the eye just a start of something bigger? Maybe some prazipro?
Hopefully this sells soon. He can't be too happy in a 60 gallon. More stress which is killing him slowly.
I would hate for zany to lose all his money. Hopefully you can recoup or get at least a little of it instead of losing all of it. We all hate losing fish/money in this hobby so we all know how this feels
