free algae scrubber

I just took this out from under my tank worked great before I changed my bulb to a par 36, so no light goes that way so no algae. I had it in my 30 gallon long and don't wanna throw it out cuz it works great. I would like to get it out before Friday if not its garbage come and get it. Its a diy but I do great diy lol
