Reef Octopus HOB skimmer roughly used by me for 1 month, and purchased by my friend 2 months before that. I have switched to an in-sump system and will no longer be using this. Skimmer works extremely well. Great for any nano tank, or a QT tank that needs a skimmer.

I have a shallow tank..whats the minimum height tank needs for it to hang on the back?

Based on my measurements 15 seconds ago... it was 15 inches tall from the base of the pump to the bottom of the outflow/inflow pipes.
