Just upgraded a to a bigger tank and got a few fish , tangs mostly I got 3. The blue hippo is starting to get a spec or two which may be ich , but I do not have a quarantine tank nor have the space to set one up. So letting this guy. Go for free to someone who may have a quarantine set up. Pick up in queens Astoria , no I won't deliver !!! He is good looking fish and very active ... Will take anything as a swap , frag or whatever small fish but not necessary. Rather see him go to a person that is more experienced with the recovery. It's not spread just like 2-3 spots but it's giving me anxiety...

If you really like the fish i would keep him, fish have flare ups. My purple tang had a decent amount of ich on him a few weeks back and now he's fully recovered the parasite will always be present just got to keep the water in good quality and make sure you feed nori or dried seaweed often makes a world of difference. I ran out of seaweed and went a couple days without it tangs like to graze all day so I think he got stressed from not having the seaweed in there enough. Anyway good luck with the tank either way if you keep him or let him go, it's a beautiful fish
