I picked this up last night from bkreefbaby, but after reading into it decided it's too much work for me. You have to do routine tests to adjust the amount of chemical dosed. I'm more of a "set it and forget it" type of guy. I' received one new bottle and a used bottle about a 1/4 full. I'll trade for a nice frag of zoas or what I paid for it $15.

It's not difficult at all. You start off with the recommended dosage depending on what your nitrates and phosphates are. Test weekly. Once your levels are where your satisfied you start the daily maintenance or however you deem right to keep your levels where you want them. Works fast and well. Good luck either way

RedSea NO3:PO4-X

I took a reading and my nitrates were at 20ppm so did a 5ga water change and began to dose 6ml a day. I know ideal level would be zero nitrates and phosphates but I don't keep SPS. I keep LPS and zoas plus my 6 fishes (2" sailfin tang, 3" red wrasse, 3" & 2" clowns, 3" purple fire fish, and a 2.5" pink anthia) the tank is 60ga including sump water volume. What level of nitrates should an ideal goal be?

Thanks

So I should dose just 1ml per 25ga? According to the literature on the bottle say 3ml per 25ga if nitrates are above 10ppm. What can happen if I accidentally over dose?

Zero -po4 & no3 is not ideal at all.

Obviously subject to tank by tank variance and systems you're going to need to find your sweet spot for nutrients.

Ideally~
Po4 @ 0.02-0.04
No3 @ 5~ish

You can dose at that higher dosage until it comes down. The 1ml is maintenance. I was actually dosing too much and developed a white fuzz like algae which told me. If you way overdose it will rob the oxygen out of your system and kill everything but thats if you WAY overdose.

I've used this product and its very good and works fast. In fact I overuse it and lost a nice gold torch. My hammer also shriveled up and I thought I would loose it but after about 3 months now it starting to look better.
I was dosing 9ml/day in a 65g tank. You will see immediate results. I plan to restart dosing again, but this time will only do the maintenance amount.
Also, this product is similar to Vodka dosing. When this bottle is done, I'm planning to get a $10 half a gallon Vodka.
