I wanted a reef but like the fish way better. My tank is 60x32x24 and with two Tunze 6105 going I still had at least a one inch wave . You dial a wave in with the auto wave feature. You hold down the button until you get your perfect wave. The pump is bulletproof has very large openings . Its a waste of money for what I am doing at this time. Send Roger from Tunze a pm or email he will be able to give you an honest answer. I had a guy from another popular reef site talk to him about it. He had a 96x48x24 and he was told he would need a slave its a box pump without a controller . This is a full size wave box 6215 . It was placed in the corner of my tank still had at least a one inch wave with me having a center trapezoid thats 14 inches wide and sticks out five inches. I also have an Iwaki 55 with two penductors going. A guy in Tialand has two on one of the nicest reefs around. If you are really interested I will drop it in and show you
