Well, it has been stated by them that it will be compatible with the Apex but now they aren't saying anything and from rumors it seems as though it probably won't happen.
A quick search and you will find threads on other forums regarding this.

Ok, I was about to message you back and tell you to check the thread for a response.

To most people I don't think it will be a big deal as I am not sure how many people want Apex control of their return pump anyway. But for what I am thinking I will need it.
