Hi all,

First off, I have a 15"x 10" very healthy green Monty cap that has taken over my 75. I will snap off pieces of 3" by 3" for $5. Larger/multiple pieces available at same rate.

I also have numerous red Monty digis that are crowding my 180. $5-$20 apiece for pieces ranging from 3" tall to multi-branched 8" pieces.

A frag rack overgrown with plating and digi red monty plus a light brown acro with blue tip for $30. (includes magnets)

Frags of pink birdsnest coral for $10 -- I have a 10" x 6" ball of PBN that grew from 2" x 1" PBN frags-- you'll get a lot more than that for $10.

Also have a very healthy green Monty cap species that is darker green and has ridges rather than polyps.

$10 per 2" x 2" frag.

Plus a tank full of P. Damicornis that has broadcast spawned its way around my 180. From single frag, I now have 30-40 colonies of the stuff. Difficult to get a sizeable frag from this stuff, but for $1-$5 dollar a frag , I will do my best -- this may result in your getting several 1" frags but if even one of these things takes root in your tank, watch out.

Here's the catch.

I will not ship.

The coral is only available at my house in Staten Island on:

Sunday, 4/3/16 and Sunday 4/10/16 between 11 am and 4 pm.

Can also do Wednesday and Thursday, 3/6 and 3/7 between 8 am and 2 pm.

Did I mention free beer?

Or by appointment.

PM for address and directions.

The coral is not mounted on plugs and is sold as is. But come take a look and you will see that the coral is as healthy as the day is long.

Got some hardware available too:

Zeovit reactor for $25;

Spectra Pure Litermeter dosing pump for $50;

AquaMaxx ConeS CO-3 In-Sump Protein Skimmer, with pump, purchased on 7/28/04 for $430.00, used for less than a year, for $199.

JBJ 1/10HP Arctica Aquarium Chiller. purchased in 3/12, has been on (in use) for about 1 hour, $199.

Plus lots more coral and hardware for sale.

So that's it. I'll try to post some photos of what I'm offering, but at these prices you should just stop by, take a look, check out my tanks, have a Boston Lager or two, and chill. You don't like what you see? Go in peace.

So chiller is going to fishy27. Got some folks lined up to cherry pick their ridiculously cheap coral this week. . . . so what are you waiting for?

Why is the price on the AquaMaxx ConeS CO-3 In-Sump Protein Skimmer, with pump, purchased on 7/28/14 for $430 so low? ($199 reduced to $189.) Frankly, I don't like the AquaMaxx skimmer pumps. Although legions of posters on RC disagree with me, I find the Sicce pumps (on the 2 AquaMaxx skimmers I have purchased) to be unreliable, and too expensive to replace compared to price of the skimmer. Hence, the price.

And finally, if the dates and times I gave don't work for you, feel free to PM to schedule an alternative showing. You still get the free beer, and just like a retail store, if you don't see anything you like, that's cool too,

Cheers,

Mike

Ouch! Sorry for not getting back to you on your PM. Have had a lot of PMs and yours fell through the cracks.

Have sold a bunch of the coral already, and will be having 2 folks coming over tomorrow for more.

Also A frag rack overgrown with plating and digi red monty as well as a light brown acro with blue tip for $30. (includes magnets).

Not to mention a 180 gallon tank full of P. Damicornis.

And hardware listed in my OP.

I'm available tomorrow and Thursday (9 am to 2 pm) or Sunday (between 11 and 3). I'll PM you my address, directions, etc. And my phone # if you want ti try to schedule an alternative time.

Mike

Here are some pathetic photos of corals for sale:

Pink Bird's Nest

The frag rack for sale with red encrusting and digi monties and acro (includes frag rack and magnets)

Some of the red digi monties for sale:

The honest to god green montipora cap, which is about 1,000% greener than it looks like in this pic:

The ubiquitous green P. Damicornis that has broadcast all over my 180:

The "ridged" green Monty Cap:

Let's see if this works.

Thanks to everyone who came by the last two days.

I still have plenty of green Monty caps including about a dozen 2? x 3? (approximately) pieces at $5 each and larger pieces available at proportional prices. (FWIW, I bought a 2? x 3? piece from a Brooklyn hobbyist about 3 years ago for $25, and it has since grown by more than 300%, throwing off colonies that I have transferred to my 180 gal tank and frags that I have sold here on Manhattan Reefs over past two years.)

Ditto for red monty digis ($5 to $15 depending on size). A four inch stick I bought grew to a jungle of red digis that almost overwhelmed both my tanks, before I started selling them off.

Also have pink birdsnest (6? x 6? ball growing from 2 x 3? sticks) available at 10 sticks for $8.

And a few more 2? x 2? pieces of ridged green monty cap for $15 a piece.

Today, I fragged (i.e. stuck sticks onto frag plug) some pink bubblegum millie and P Damacornis. Can?t sell them until I make sure they are viable, but give me your phone number and I will lock you in at $10 a frag assuming the frags thrive.

Don?t forget hardware for sale, including:

Zeovit reactor for $25 for reactor itself ? there is an attached Eheim compact pump which worked when last I used the reactor but not sure if this dreck of a pump is still working.)

Spectra Pure Litermeter dosing pump for $50;

AquaMaxx ConeS CO-3 In-Sump Protein Skimmer, with pump, purchased on 7/28/04 for $430.00, used for less than a year, for $199.

Anyways, I?m available tomorrow (Thursday) between 9 am and 2 pm and Sunday between 10:30 am and 2 pm).

PM me for address, etc. Or if you already have my contact info, give me a call to let me know when you?re coming.

Thanks,

Mike
