Will be moving soon and closing down my tank, once the life stock is sold, will sell equipment.
Currently emptied out the main tank and under going hyposalinity before selling fish
Equipment will be available after Nov 15th, since I'm treating ich for 4 weeks.
Standard 65 gallon tank, 2 years old, have custom canopy and two fixtures, 150W Ocean Revive Arctic T247 (see link).
http://www.oceanrevivellc.com/goods.php?id=19
The tank is sitting on a wood base, which captures water drips and splashes from the iron stand. The canopy and wood base are both 2 years old and could use a bit more varnish on the exposed surfaces. The iron stand is 7 years old and still functional, rust is visible and I've been oiling it for the past few years.
In the stand, I'm using a 38 gallon refugium, which is drilled in the back, (has insert barbed bulkhead to hose fitting for a mag 7 pump return hose. The refugium has a 4 bulb x 39W T5 Current fixture, with an extra icecap vent fan on it. 6" deep sand bed with plenum underneath. Includes about 100 pounds of live sand, which you'll need to wash out before use again. You'll also need many buckets to carry the sand out, since the refugium will crack if the sand is moved in it.
Connecting the tank to refugium, is a Eshopps Overflow Box PF-800, leading to a removable bubble trap/baffle to prevent water splash, the refugium water level is set high. This is an old photo when the system was set up, however the original tank, with internal overflow has been replaced with a standard tank 2 years ago when it sprung a leak.
Looking to sell the lights, canopy, 65 gallon tank, stand, refugium, overflow/baffles as a set, since a drilled 38 gallon refugium has no other use besides being under this tank.
My costs are about:
$180 for the 65 gallon
$300 (150 each fixture x 2) Arctic Revive light
$75 iron stand
$70 for the drilled 38gallon refugium
$110 for the 4 x 39W T5 refugium fixture
$60 for the overflow box
$100 canopy
Which adds up to $900 if new. There will be no charge for the iron stand and refugium lighting, since they are showing age, the overflow box and baffles also free, since they are plastic.
so that leaves the remainder at 650, subtract a cut for being used, so the magic number is $400, or best offer.
I plan on keeping the protein skimmer, jeboa wave makers and other miscellaneous accessories. Below are current photos
overflow box
refugium anti splash baffling, pipe drops water in on the left, if flows down, up, down and up again, exiting at the water surface to the right.
