I want to trade my king of the hill reef lobster for a naso or blue tang I will also look into anemones or coral for trade. I Hate to loose him. Loves being inside my ww2 plane and walks around the reef at night. But I am changing up adding fish and eels that eat inverts I can't have this guy in their if their going to eat him. Or make me an offer. His out during the days too but near his territory his about 3.5 " when their little they hide alot but now that his bigger he comes out. when the blue lights are on you will see him more and at night he roams around scavenging for food on the sand bed. he leaves alot my sleeping fish he will normally push them with his pinchers. a coral beauty and damsel literally hangs out with him all the time which is funny. But i purchasing a puffer and trigger who will destory him. i put him in this tank because my eel is bigger now and iv seen some nasty fights.

Hi

I highly doubt any fish or eel will harm your lobster. I don?t think any fish can harm your lobster. Eels will eat a lobster but it would have to be a very large eel to eat a 3 inch lobster. I have three large adult eels and i couldn?t see them showing any interest.

So, if your worried about it being eaten, i wouldn?t.

I?d be more worried that lobster attacking my fish at night when sleeping.

Note:

A large puffer is the only fish i would not have in tank with lobster in regards to lobster being destroyed. I had big puffers and fed crayfish sometimes and the puffers just ripped them apart.

Hi guys I was just about to post that I want to add a niger trigger fish to the tank and a couple puffers. Beside that I have snowflake eel in their just added couple months ago but he pushes him around a lot especially during feeding time. his grown so big I am worried not only for that but I cannot add a trigger or puffer until his gone. I wanted niger and puffer from The start but my local store was anist it. And the lobster was the first guy in my tank because he was hardy.

Niger trigger will not harm your lobster. I?m assuming your lobster is normal and hides in the rocks. Any puffer will hunt it and destroy it for fun. Snowflake eel will not eat your lobster unless your packing a monster ??. I?m surprised you kept little fish with it.
