Hi, about 3 hours ago my 250DD started leaking on the back right corner. The tank had been modified by the previous owner where he eliminated the corner overflows and added a coast to coast. He sealed the bottom holes with either glass or acrylic. I think it?s glass and he siliconed it. I haven?t had any issues until my wife saw a leak today. Luckily I have an acrylic tank in my basement where I moved all the live stock to. If you know how to reseal the silicone you should be fine. I do not think its the glass. Will need at least 3 guys the tank is heavy. Dimension are 60? x 36 x 27. I am only giving away the tank. I am keeping the rest for my next build. PM me or text me at (201)*527-0414.

Thanks

CTC overflow Is an external overflow that runs for about 3/4 of the tank width. Sometime whole width of the aquarium and has capacity to handle more flow than a typical overflow. The one I have is not a true coast to coast I think. Probably more of a ghost overflow.

Thanks

How slow is the leak?

If it is real slow drip, it could be the same problem I had with some acrylic that I siliconed over three holes that were drilled in the bottom of a used 120 tank I bought. Something, probably a yet unidentified worm, ate its way through the silicone and created a small channel through the silicone and between the acrylic and the glass bottom. I popped the acrylic, cleaned off the old silicone, and siliconed it back down again. No subsequent leak... yet...

Anyway, you should check the silicone job before you give the tank away.
