The sunpod has the MH ballast internal. It is equiped with several fans and exhaust vents. It's very quiet and just a little warm to the touch. They use many heat sinks inside of it to route heat up and out.

The tank is in pristine condition except for tons of coraline algae on the back glass and overflow.

There isn't a single scratch anywhere! Comes with megaflow overflow and oceanic glass top as well.

He's well. I think that I'm keeping the fish, rock, some sps and the pumps etc. I"m going to keep them in sump rubbermaid tubs and maybe a 40 breeder (which will become the new sump.)

I"l be around this weekend early or evenings.

fritz, does the light sit right on the tank?

No the sunpod comes with legs that keep it about 6 inches above the tank. The bottom of the internal hqi pendants are flush with the bottom so the bulb height is another few inches above the bottom of the fixture.

How did sps like the xm's? I havent used hqi xm's before. This will be for a prop tank - breeder 40, so corals will be about 8-12 inches below the surface.

MUCH better growth with the XMs than when I was using 14k bulbs. This would be great for a 40 breeder. Pics of the stand are here:
