note* some,but minimal scaring on cheecks... fish has been in my care for 2 years and is healthy and eating (mixed diet) like a pig.

I can't believe the prices of this purple Tangs. no knock on the seller's price. Ive seen med sized Purple Tangs for $190 in Manhattan... I have an LFS that sold to me for less than half of that price.

Red Sea are supposed to be ?brighter? than the others. That?s why a higher price

But don?t be fooled. Some lfs and sellers advertise them as Red Sea and there regular. Trying to command the high price of Red Sea. You?d be amazed at the mark up.

this is def a red sea purple tang... i can assure you of this... those of you who know me, know that i have some very reliable resources.

and theres nothing wrong with it..maybe a little lateral line showing bc I'm dosing heavy carbon rn..... it belonged to a customer of mine who unfortunately needed to break down his tank... i adopted all his fish and had them in my 20g aux tank... i have a large yellow tang in my 80g display that won't get along with the purple... now that the fish are sold, i had to choose between the tangs, and i chose the yellow... hence selling the purple...

I doubt that Purples are not coming out of the Red Sea. There are no Indo Purples, maybe some are coming out of the Arabian sea or Persian gulf but are still going through the Red Sea distributors.
