Im looking to buy or for any information on where to find...
A Mandarin Dragonet that eats prepared foods.
I lost my Mandarin today, when i woke up it was dead. He did really good for almost 2 years, grew a lot, had a really nice long spike. I realized in the last week or 2 that he was looking skinny. I think it was from not enough pods being shot into the sump from the refugium and then being pumped up from the basement through the floor. You see, I just hooked my tank upstairs to another system in the basement and took off its own refugium/sump & skimmer. That is why i believe he started getting skinny. anyways...
Ive heard online rambles of people getting mandarins to eat prepared foods like frozen mysis or even pellets. I also have heard they are being captive bred now. (awesome!) Has anyone seen this IRL? anyone know where i could buy one? Id prefer to buy local, (Long island, NYC, CT). I see they are on algae barn for $90 but they are out of stock.
Please help! thank you.
