So I've decided my 72g tank was just too much to deal with in terms of the sheer amount of water-changes, and perhaps even more importantly, with the electricity bill and all that jazz. So I'll be downgrading to a smaller tank which I plan to make a Seahorse tank. In the meantime all my fish, the lights, the tank, and most of the live rock is for sale. I'm not actually sure of the amounts, so let me know if my pricing is too high!

Also, anyone interested in the fish will probably have to wait until a good chunk of the live rock is out of the tank as they'll be impossible to catch otherwise!

Here's the list:

72 gallon bow (reef ready) + stand + 20g (three chamber) sump + pump: $300
-AGA, 3 years old, few minor scratches; I bought it from a MR member.

Tek T5s, 48’’, 6-bulb: $300
-less than 2 years, bulbs need to be replaced.

Yellow Tang w/top fin frayed, (5’’): PRICE DROP $15
-2.5 years in my tank, gets along with everyone; eats everything (including flakes/pellets), top fin deteriorated.

Valentini Puffer (3’’): $20
-about 1 year in my tank, cute as a button, not shy, very curious; eats everything meaty, pellets; originally bought from Masterswimmer.

GSM Clown (4’’) w/RBTA: SOLD
-about 1 year in my tank; hangs out mostly in and under his anemone; eats everything, including flakes/pellets; only chases PJ Cardinal away from his side of the tank.
-anemone was cultured by a MR member. It came to me a couple of inches wide and now stretches out fully to probably about 7-8’’.

Blue HippoTang (5-6’’): $55
-In my tank about 1.5 years; gets along with everyone, but likes to sometimes chase others around; stuffs her face with everything, including flakes/pellets, faster than anyone else.

Fridmani Pseudochromis (3’’): SOLD

Bicolor Blenny (3-4’’): SOLD

PJ Cardinal (2-3’’): $15
-bought from another MR member; I’ve had it for a year; peaceful; eats pretty much everything, including pellets (no flakes).

Marine Betta (8-9’’): $65
-had for about 2 years; she’s awesome because she’s not shy at all; swims around constantly; always peaking out from behind rocks to see what’s going on and if anybody is going to feed her; eats krill and pieces of silversides; will also grab frozen Formula 1 and frozen Special VHP Formula when larger pieces float to her.

Live Rock (w/hair algae on some of it *sigh*): $2/lb
-various shapes: from boulders to flat slabs (great to make overhangs)

2 Pink/Green Yumas: SOLD

Green Leather: $50

2 Green Hammers, multiple heads: $30 each (1 SOLD, 1 PENDING)

Purple Frogspawn, multiple heads: SOLD

I'll take some additional pix tomorrow.

So far these are all pending/1st dibs:

Kathy> Rics

Firehazard> Froggies (1st in line)

Marrone> Froggies (2nd in line)

Devious> Marine Betta (I think the Betta, the Puffer, and the Clown are the ones I'll miss most...:-( Unless someone tells me Seahorses are safe with a Marine Betta! She never chases food; just waits for a spot-feeding. :scratchch)

Somebody asked for pix of the Bicolor Blenny and the tank/lights. The pix aren't great; I've been moving rocks around and the water's a mess. THere's also crazy coraline algae on the front!

What's scaring you? Coralline or hair algae? I consider both to be pests. I know lots of people can't get coralline in their tank, but mine is unstoppable. The back and the sides are 100% covered in a thick layer. What you're seeing in that pick is after a scrubbing; I left the edges filled in because my hand was killing me from the cleaning.

Demitri, I am the one interested in the blenny & the green leather. It is a pic of the green leather that I would like to see. Could you please post one or email me. Thank you.
