I bought this used skimmer to put on my sump, did not understand how much clearance it needed. I can not take out the collector cup when skimmer is mounted on my sump.
It is a used skimmer, the collector cup is a bit damaged but still collects waste, I tested it out.
Comes with a Maxi-jet 1200 pump and a surface skimming box. It also eliminates the micro-bubbles coming out of the skimmer.
It is a decent setup, rated for up to a 75 gal tank.
