I have a few extra mesh wheels for the Sedra 5000 pumps. The photos show:

1) the wheel w/o mesh
2) wheel w/mesh
3) standard needle wheel

Photos show front and back!

This mesh wheel assembly allows you to keep your present needle wheel or impeller. This wheel simply mounts to the hex nut on your magnet/impeller assembly! This way instead of ruining your present needle wheel by shaving it down you actually have 2. 1) your new mesh wheel and 2) your regular as a backup.

Yes, this mesh wheel will work for your ASM, Euro-Reef, etc skimmers as long as they use the Sedra 5000 pumps. I believe even the Sedra 3500 pumps use the same impeller as the 5000 pumps. I'm sure someone with an actual Sedra 3500 could verify that!

The Mesh wheel creates more micro bubbles! It also allows greater air intake! It's the cheapest and best mod for your skimmer!!!

ok i got mine today and ty. was very easy to switch over, cut a little of the mesh back. the inside of my pump was so nasty, and the needle wheel was covered with junk. now for the break-in period and on to next mod of the gate valve. ty again
