I am using a Canon sd750. The pics are taken under either 150watt mh only OR actinic only. There is a "Digital Macro Mode" on the camera that, so far, I like it best. But the subject must be towards the front of the tank or on top. I need to get close.

My biggest problems is that the front of the glass is curved. I find that taking pics from above the tank gives be the clearest and truest color. The problem with taking pics from the top is the reflection from the lighting.

Right now, I am limited in reef real estate. The only sps I am interested at the moment is a Montipora with purple polyps (superman? encrusting type). I am going to upgrade to a larger tank in the near future. I'm pretty sure I will want some sps at that point.

Welcome to the hobby. I am a newbie that started about 2 years ago. At the moment, I only have a limited quantity available to trade so I can grow my collection.

I prefer to trade. However, let me know which ones you are interested in and then i will give you a price and quantity of polyps. The reason for this is b/c polyp quantity I can offer will vary between different morphs.

Cool pics I didn't know getting into this hobby you would HAVE to buy a GOOD camera too!!!! Lol but anyway I live in queens too and I just bought a frag from a couple of guys on this site. I currently have a Creamy center zoo and a Purple cap. I really liked the zoo u have & I'm gonna take a wild guess I think its the zombie eyes??? Its the 2nd picture from the 2nd set u posted. I think that's really hot! But if u can sell or will I'd be very interested. Take care
