If anyone local in North Jersey wants to nurse a YT 4" and a hippo 4" back to good health come pick them up. I haven't caught them yet.
I don't have a hospital tank set up and I'm going on vacation so the last thing I want to see when I get back are two dying fish as they have ich.
Both are eating rather well but the hippo is a bit sluggish. I've used garlic extract for the past two days hoping for a miracle.
I don't want to treat the main tank with copper since eventually someone may want to set up a reef tank and I've been considering breaking it down anyway and possibly downsizing.
I've made the mistake of not having a QT.
Quite frankly this episode has made me rethink about staying in this hobby.
