I have to many nassarius snails.. I can't use all, I have bare bottom...I would like to sell some...$20 for 200...

You're wrong, there are many types of Nass snails, Could you take a better pic so we could ID them.

Will take another pic with other cam tonite...This cam sucks and the battery on the new one is dead to many pics..How many are there...I have had these in my bedroom tank for 3 yrs...I just broke that tank down...

ebay has them
Ilyanassa Obsoleta -they're mud snails. shell is smooth n dark.

below is the nassarius vibex. shell is rough. this is the kind u want. they go for $1-$2 per snail. dont b a sucka. know what u r gettin.

Don't know if they can be collected in Staten Island, but if I could that would be nice...I had these in my bed tank for a long time and they were given to me from a friend... I am shutting that tank down and the rest of my tanks don't have sand so they wouldn't do good..

yeah I get those things in my boat down the shore when I go crabbing. They are fine when they lived in another tank for a while and you don't have to worry about any new bacteria pigging backing from the shores around here. For the most part they will hide in the sand most of the day then at night be all over the place, or when you feed they come out like crazy. imo they are pretty good snails if you don't mind the the blackish color in your tank.
