Hi all. I haven't been on in a long time due to some family circumstance but things have come to a close and I'm back. I've decided to cut down on the electric bill and happen to come across some unfortunate puffers that I was able to save.
I have 6 Tiger Puffers (Really Northern Puffers) Spheroides maculatus. I happen to visit a friend who took me over to meet his fisherman neighbor that had 10 of these guys in a 20 gallon tank for his son. They were in there for a week! He was nice enough to let me take them all since his son didn't pay any attention to them. I have had them for almost two months now and they are fully quarantined and acclimated. They eat everything including pellets (New life spectrum, Formula 1 & 2, Frozen fish and shrimp and dried seaweed. These guys are awesome! Even thopugh they are from a temperate environment they can handle water temps up to 93 degrees. They will do absolutey fine in a tank from 70-85 degrees. I've kept them in the past with no problem. I had them in a tank with three anemones and a Kenya tree and some mushrooms without any problem. I wouldn't put them in a reef though because you never know. They are all about 3" (some a bit less, some a bit more). $15 a piece (see pic below).
I'm also selling my Striped Dogface Puffer. This guy is my favorite but has been picking on my Stingrays so he needs to go. About 4" (see pic below). $15 (PENDING SALE TO thepudge)
Lastly I'm selling three RBTAs. Two large and One Small (see pic below). My Clarkii actually hosts in all three as he moves around the tank. Large are $50 a piece and small is $25. Even though I love my Clarkii I'm willing to include her with one of the large for only an additional $10. I have had her for two years. If you are thinking of trying to mate her, be my guess but I have failed at least 10 times! (SMALL RBTA PENDING SALE TO nycpassat)
If interested in freshwater agressive fish, I have two Red Belly's for free located here: Pirhana's (PIRHANAS PENDING TO BOB 1000)
