Happy Tanksgiving!
Got this Achilles tang about 1 month ago, did well at first but now spends the majority of his time directly in front of a powerhead seeking heavier flow. Wild caught adult, imported, bought from local fish store after it was there for 2 weeks. I believe it misses its heavy flow natural environment and belongs in a tank with much heavier flow than its currently in. Tank is a 600 gallon lagoon with 4 gyre xf350s, 2 mp60's, and some smaller random power heads.
He has become stressed and does not eat much. Will nibble on Nori, vitamin soaked, apetite enhancer, but doesn't seem to be exerting enough energy to work up an appetite.
Located in Bergen County, NJ. If anyone has a tank with heavy flow and would like to take this fish and give it a proper environment to make it happy again, that would be great.
Will give for free, but if anyone would like to trade a large leather or Monti, or something similar would be happy to take it.
The important thing is getting it happy and healthy again.
