Free Nano Skimmer

This is a current usa fission nano skimmer. It is a real piece of SH**T(Garbage), but if someone wants to give it a shot, go for it. I don't even have the nerve to sell it because I don't need the headache.

I don't believe that current usa has the nerve to make a skimmer like this being that there products for the most part are okay in my book.

Pick up in Throgs Neck. It looks like the pic below and it is complete. This was a complete waste of money...

I was thinking about trying to mod my mrc2 beckett skimmer...It works fine but I just like torqueing things up...At first I thought adding an air stone might do it...But maybe you Know more????

I have 1 running on my 13 gallon nano, I removed the cover from the skimmer, connected the skimmate hole with a silicon tube and made the tube long inough to connect it or let it out into a skimmate collector (a cup)... I f u want pics, pm me.

I found the biggest problem is that I can not put a cover on the tank with this gadget. Does your mod help this problem?

no, this skimmer has its flaws, 1 of them is that its a little too high...
second the tube connecting the pump is too long...
third if u dont have it in the back of ur tank, u will get tired of the micro bubbles... the air tube always falls into the water making the skimmer useless.

this is a useless $30 skimmer.

What my mod does is imporve the power and the efectivness of the skimmer making it push more skimmate out of the water...Thats all Also it improves the exit and collection of the skimmate.
