The skimmers don't use the shrouds, you need one with a ventura/venturie (not sure about the spelling) hole. which the normal maxijets have.

yeah but if he has all the parts I can put it back to normal. I have fish coming tomorrow and need it for the qt and the MJ i ordered wont be here until monday
