there are a few scratches not much and the back is painted nicely as for age hmmmmm lol i dont even know mabe 5 years? but it's been empty for a bit before and it's been sittin empty for aslong as i had the new tank setup. Comes with all PVC all u need is a sump and a pump and its good to go anybody!? and as for stand alone i preffer not i jsut want it all out no space! but price isn't firm throw whatever u think its worth just get it out
