Did a fresh water dip on some new rock my friend purchased for his setup, and it popped out.

Green with whitish/blue dots. ~ 1.5"

Bump for the morning crowd, anybody interested?

Rareclownsnj, I have no problem holding this for you until tomorrow, just not sure if you wanted to make the trip.

For the last two days it's sitting been sitting in a bucket with a powerhead and some pvc for shelter. I've been trying to keep water quality up, but would imagine it's not ideal.

I'm going to place it in a new home today, someone expressed interest, and should be stopping by for pickup later. I agree with you, too far a drive and it's certainly not going to be last to be found. Hopefully the next one is closer.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have read that to cure live rock, for dipping to use a 1035 to 1040 Salinity. The freshwater dip is okay and does not harm the rock?
