Danny: I have 4 X 110 watt VHO's, and my RBTA & GBTA's have been doing great. If your running MH's then you'll be in great shape

And to answer your question, I think it might be best to pose the question to the general community, I have never owned Power Compacts, so I couldn't tell you for sure if 165w of PC lighting would be enough. What I can tell you is that RBTA & GBTA don't require alot of light, which is the reason I choose to keep them in my tank.

I had one before I moved too Florida (PLTA & GBTA) under 225w of PC lighting and they did great, I don't know if 165w will be enough. There is only one way to find out.
