Aquapod 24 Gallon with standard fluorescent lights. From the moment I bought it, I did some changes: I change the original fan to quiet one and install the second one, change the original pump for more quiet. So, I fix the overheating problem. The tank was bought a couple of months ago, and was used as tropical fish aquarium.The only problem I had with it - algae.

No, it does not.
I bought the aquarium around two months ago by mistake ? I did not know that this aquarium is not good for a tropical fish. I had/have there 2 bronze catfish, 1 otofish, 3 gold honey garoumes, 3 red zebra danious. But the problem is that I got black beard algae form plants (there were live plants there: Anubia Round Leaves, Java Fern, and Mini Sword). As I understand, to fight it I need to get illuminate phosphate from the water, but I cannot do it with this tank. Filter area is not big enough to use a Phosphate Generator unit, and there is no way to use standard media in bag or cartridges with this unit (to make sure that water will come through it. Of course, I took plants out, change water (it much clear now), can add a Siamese Algae Eater to the tank, change lights, etc. But, if I cannot get rid from Phosphates, it will come back. So, I would like to sell the tank as is for the more experience professional. And he/she can use it as great saltwater aquarium. As to your question, I would like to respond again that I did not use any chemistry (not medication, not for cleaning, etc.).As to me, I am planning to buy other aquarium in the future for freshwater fish. I would never sell this aquarium if I could find the way to get rid of Phosphates (to make sure that the algae will not come back). Thanks!
