Up for sale is a 250W Metal Halide in a DIY box with a home made ballast, done by an electrician. Bulb is about 5 months old, if i'm not mistaken the color temperature of the bulb is 14,000k. I bought this when i got my tank, paid $75 for it. I've used it for about 2 weeks and then i switched to 2-175W.
I'm asking for $40 for everything. You might be able to use this for parts or to give you some extra light.
