Salt water fish tank for sale/ I hate to part with it but I have realized I have no time for it. It is something you need to handle on daily basis .I have bought everything you need in the last 3 months .That is how old the tank is All listed are new except tank which I bought used

Every single thing listed is no more then 3 months old some still in the box new.
The tank is still up and running and will stay that way until someone comes to buy it. All you have to do is bring someone to help you carry it out you take out some water or save it in buckets take the tank home and refill no waitng for a cycle I already did that.\

I have broken down all I have bought and what is for sale I am not going to sell parts as I will get stuck with items then the prices don’t list the time and effort put it

I am asking $2000 for all of it. If you are into the hobby or are looking to start you know it is a GREAT deal[

Sorry if this sounds rude but I mentioned I am selling all in one not willing to break down anythig then it becomes people coming to the house every day haggling over prices I will get stuck with a lot of items

I am sorry to let it go and I am actually still undecided if I get a buyer for the whole lot great if not I will hold it till I do . I have 3 kids young basketball every night work late alot I get home and you have to do so much to keep it all ok I would not want to be the one to let it all die

But it looks good now

Sorry all or

its not rude but i highly doubt that your going to sell the whole thing, no offense but thats how they usually go... someone wants to sell the whole thing and if that doesnt work out the people usually part, dont be upset were just stating that if all fails we would like your items.. sorry if i was too blunt but as you can tell people already are into this parting mind set...

Thanks I am still trying to convince myself to keep it maybe that is why I say no parting who knows I love my tank But I really don't have the time or space for it I should have thought of that first. But I had fresh water for 5 years and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy compared to this

If you don't go too ambitious, SW tank could be as easy as FW tank.

EVERYONE here will kill me for saying this, I even have tanks with tap water and things are still healthy and easy to maintain. Look at my gallery, the very first SW tank I owned was using tap until I move. I am sure it's not the best looking one, but it's not a bad looking one. I can even keep some of the hard to keep items in that tank. So I think the hardest and frustrating period is the beginning phase. Once this phase past, you are set to run the whole thing almost automatically. I always think these several things are the most important for a beginner:
1)Patience and control of being too ambitious
2)Auto Top Off (without it you feel like doing house keeping everyday and start to loose interest)
3)Proper cycling of the tank that you actually have built a strong bio filtration. If somehow you messed up, money can solve this part of the problem by adding good powerful skimmer. (without either, you will struggle everyday to keep it right)
4)Temperature control before the heat wave hit(without this you will have a heart attack when your tank is getting some success)

Lighting is a non issue if you stay with FOWLR and even easy coral.
Flow is an non issue if you are keeping the easy ones and not getting stuff that need a lot of flow.

Not everyone need SPS nor a Morish Idol in the tank just choose the right ones for your tank with the current setup.

If you ever go back to fresh water and need some Java moss for algae control, aquascaping and breeding, LMK. I'll give you some. i may have a lot of shells to give too for your baby fish to hide.
