this is your all in 1 package it is an Rodi unit, automatic top off,automatic water changes,auto dosing, it is a dialysis it takes ur aquarium water in and filters it out clean into the aquarium, then it auto matic makes water, with a salt solution to replenish ur sytem, u set how many gallons aday you want cleaned,a shop vac is needed to attach to the cad unti, there are float switchs inside the cad, theres a micron screen that acts like a filter sock when it gets dirty the float switch turns on a solinoid that switchs on a plug that the shop vac it hook up to then sucks the screen clean , meanwhile the jacco actuators flippled and the water was diverted into the right side of the sump until the solidoid switches off..this unit is good up till 3000 gallons, all that is need is a skimmer, and your biologics ect bioballs, rock, zeovit,ect..
