Overdriving t5

I have a 36" 4*39W Nova Extreme Pro T5 in a 30 gallon long tank and I am thinking of adding more light.

I heard somewhere you can overdrive the bulbs to get more light.

Does anyone have any experience in this ares?

Please point me in the right direction if you do.

You need to get the icecap V-HO ballasts to replace the stock ones in the nova extreme.

OK. They cost somewhere between $140 and $150 right?

How much more power I can get from each bulb?

I heard with the non retro fit its problematic, because the bulbs are too close and the heat becomes problematic with these enclosed fixtures. This was the response I got when I contemplated overdriving my cheap aquatrader fixture. However never tried it so just conveying others info
