Hi James,
I wanted to get back to you on your food. I have to give myself an incomplete. After I met you, almost all of my fish started to die over the course of the next week. This has nothing to do with your food, btw. From what I could tell the food was liked by the few recipients that got eat it. The one goby I have left and all the crusctaceans seem to enjoy the food when I feed them. I have been using it sparingly to feed the corals. My hammers can chow done the bigger chuncks. My favias ate this too. That was the first time I saw them eat. I didn't realize they could swell up the way they do.

I don't get it. My corals seem to be doing really well but I can't keep fish to save my life. It's frustrating. Maybe I went too fast on setting up the system. I will continue to use your food to feed the corals. I get the sense your stuff is cleaner and leaves less nutrients in the system. My algae issues appears to be dying off since I stopped feeding the prepackaged products I was using. I'll try to get you better feedback in a couple of weeks. Since I only have one fish in the tank I am feeding every third day.

Hope all is well.

Sorry to hear about your fish.
Just so everybody knows. DNREEF knows alot about fish wich is one of the reasons I was suprised to hear this. He has been very successful with FW fish, tough ones, discus. I think he should post about his problems because I'm sure somone here has some answers.

I don't want to accidentally hijack this thread. I have attached the link to my introduction thread which has my paramaters.
http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/general-discussion/58593-dnreef-introduction-questions.html

I have continued to use the food with the corals. I have also started putting it into the mini food processor just to bring down the grind size a bit. The 1/2 inch chunks linger until the crabs get to them. I am not feeding heavily and my water looks pretty clear. Right now the only thing I am feeding is your food. Just as a comparison, I have used frozen krill, frozen brine shrimp, frozen formula and frozen clams. I had more issues with algae using those products even when feeding lightly. I'm going to go back to those products for a couple of weeks and see if that kicks up the algae growth. Let you know in a couple of weeks what the results are.
