I shipped a light a while ago and took it to a package place. THey wrapped it up for me and it made it fine.

Kris, Not sure if this is a possibility, but I was looking at getting one of these for my setup. Problem is, I cant use the ballast so would only be interested in the fixture. I could send you paypal and pick it up when I am back in New York in August or have someone like john hang onto it for me.
I did have one question though, what is the spread like? do you think it would cover a 3 foot tank?
