There are blue hornets that comes from Indonesia and Africa may be some more places too but I am not aware of. The 305PH is from Indonesia.

There is a story about the color change too if you stay tune with other forums as well. I found that the African ones are easier to die and DID NOT change to purple even though I followed the steps of the original 305PH guy. An Indonesian coral importer "claimed", he was successful to change the color base on the same story. He did not sell me any purple ones so I have no idea how true is the claim either.

Oh, forgot to mention, my other friend who got a colony(not sure from Africa or Indo) from an online dealer and my African ones (as clearly stated by the wholesale) do change colors before fragging and the colonies die afterwards. Neither of our colonies change to the desirable purple though.

Note: I have one ailing polyp seems recovering.

I know what store he got them from and I think he got them at the same time with mine. I have my colony over 2 months and is doing well. but at the same time, a friend of mine who bought the other rock from the same store - his zoas are gone.
I think there is a slight color difference from colonies that came in the second wave of those zoas.
