Where is the best place to buy pvc fittings near NYC?

Home Depot on 59th and 3rd ave carries some but not a large selection, though you maybe able to find what you need.

Thanks but I am looking for kind of special items, unions, etc.
I have a car so I can go to NJ, queens etc.

If you have a car then go to the Home Depot on Northern Blvd. It's a full store and they carry a lot of PVC, fittings and plumbing supplies.

I found even having a car, and going to numerous HD or Lowe's don't have those special items your looking for! It's much easier buying them online from www.AuaticEco.com
I've had great success finding everything here, sure pay a little more, but your not wasting your gas and time to HD, mostly they have empty box, items in the wrong box. At least at Aquatic Eco-System you can talk to a live person, explain what your trying to accomplish and someone will tell you what you need.

Dude theres a lowes n home depot right near the battery tunnel in bklyn... They have all the fittings u need.. Never had a prob there

i never found any kind of unions and/or bulkheads around at HD or lowes..i looked everywhere in jersey city area...i ended up buying online like..saltysupply.com and aquacave.com

MY LFS has everything... you can stop by they close at 8pm today... Kissena Aquarium... right off the lie. kissena blvd exit...

The HD on Northern didn't have much but the HD in Flushing had a better selection.
I got the unions and fittings but I still need some 1/2" nipple so I quess I will have to go the internet route.
