I have two bubble tips for sale

They are both on the same rock so it is unlikely to seperate them

The rock also has star polyps on it also

Its about a foot long rock and the

Purple base one is 2.5 inches and the Reddishbrown one with orange tips in like 4 or 5 inches.

85 for both and add extra if you want them on the rock, if you dont want the rock your taking them off because its a PIA.

I am in springfield 07081 and you can seriously damage the foot of an anemone by pointing a power head at the base, the foot is like a muscle and the force ofthe power head can cause an internal tear.

Most anemones that die are a result of the foot being damaging in collection or when being taken from a stores tank. BTA's are the hardyest but i like them move on their own unless they are on a flat surface.

so in a long way unless they move them selves they go as a pair. Its funny cause i bought then together on one rock and they did the same thing when they went in the tank

my real home is out there so i'd be interested depending on where you're located yadda yadda yadda, was just trying to help you out with the powerhead idea..free bump i guess..

edit: i know the foot is a muscle, thats the function of it..the powerhead isn't supposed to rip them off, just promote discomfort. if the nem isn't comfortable where it is, it will move. same as if you shade the part of the tank that they're in, if they're unhappy they will move. it moving this way won't tear, rip or injure the nem or foot of them nem.

That also is def not a good idea. A healthy anemone will not release and mostly you will damage it from its own weight pulling it down. Any time you lift an anemone out of water it needs to be supported.

if you really want to get it off, point the powerhead at it. the powerhead isn't supposed to rip them off, just promote discomfort. if the nem isn't comfortable where it is, it will move. same as if you shade the part of the tank that they're in, if they're unhappy they will move. it moving this way won't tear, rip or injure the nem or foot of them nem.

if you don't want to split them then just say it if we'd have to get it off, that is the easiest way to do it..no effort and no damage to anything

free bump but you're kind of being nasty for no reason

Greedy

Im not being rude. I understand that the techniques your guys suggest are common knowledge and the most used but that doesnt mean they are the right way to do it.

Stressing an animal into moving isnt a good idea. Especially an anemone.

Its like saying if i point a fire hose at someone and turn it on the person will move but there going to get really hurt or stressed.

Thats why most anemones dont live is because its basically a bag of water with muscles. If you injury the foot of an anemone most times they will perish. Your are better off taking them on the rock they are on and letting them move on their own.

I am with you on this. most of people who suggest stuff out there were never done yet. they might only read and think it work. don't follow those general suggestions. I once follow ice on foot, blow strong water at its base etc. and kill two of my beautiful RBTA. these idea don't work. let the RBTA take it own way
