Putting htis up for a friend

He wants to see if there is any interest in a 72"L X 24.5"H X 18"W tank and stand. It was used for an Iguana and is about 8-10 years old. He water tested it when he first got it but hasn't done it since. No scratches, not RR. Both the stand and the tanks are pristine. He is the original owner.

He is asking $450 for both. Not willing to split them. Pick up in 10962.

Without having water in or near them, that tank could be in perfect condition no matter how old it was. And the same for the stand. That tank is new for over 600 alone. stand new is about 350. So 600 might be a little high but not much. Imo.

The stand has never had any water near it. This guy was neurotic about his 2 Iguanas, so he actually had 2 of these tank/stand set ups. He sold the other tank when he first got rid of the Iguana's (gave them to Greenburg Nature Center in Westchester). He still hasn't got back to me yet, so I will post up if he is firm on the price or not. Thanks for the interest guys.

The silicone dries up and gets brittle over time if there is no water in tank. So a tank that has been dry for ten years has weaker seams than a tank that has been full of water for ten years.

99% of tanks have a tempered bottom. If wanting to drill ud have to drill the side or back
